There is no change in the context of Ukraine. The special military operation continues – now it is the only way to achieve the goals set by Russia. This was stated by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.
“In the context of Ukraine, nothing changes, a special military operation continues, because this is the only way to achieve the goals that our country faces today,” Peskov said.
The Kremlin spokesman also added that a council of the Supreme State Council of the Union State would be held next week, in which the presidents of Russia and Belarus could discuss the situation in Ukraine.
Earlier, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko in his message to the people called for the cessation of hostilities in the conflict zone in Ukraine and called for the terms of a truce.
