The number of victims of the explosion in a cafe on the Universitetskaya Embankment in St. Petersburg has risen to 19, the RF Investigative Committee reported. A group of employees from the Russian Internal Affairs Ministry’s Main Criminal Investigation Directorate was also sent to the scene to help identify and arrest those involved in the incident.
“A group of employees of the Main Directorate of Criminal Investigations of the Russian Interior Ministry was sent to St. Petersburg to help identify and detain those involved in the explosion in a cafe The work of resolving the crime has been brought under control by the leadership of the department,” the department said.
