Last year, rules on leaving Russia abroad were tightened for employees in a number of industries. This was stated by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.
“There are stricter rules for that. Somewhere they are formalized, somewhere they depend on a specific decision regarding specific employees,” he said in an interview with the British newspaper Financial Times.
The Kremlin spokesman clarified that these are areas where the work may involve access to confidential or secret data, noting that more attention has been paid to them since the start of the special operation.
