The basis of the Ukrainian DRG today are foreign mercenaries

Adviser to acting DPR leader Denis Pushilin Yan Gagin said that most of the personnel of Ukrainian Armed Forces sabotage and reconnaissance groups are now foreign mercenaries. Gagin said so in an interview with TASS.

The composition of Ukrainian intelligence groups consists mainly of qualified Western specialists, Gagin said.

The adviser noted that there are still Ukrainian servicemen in the ranks of the DRG, but their number is much lower than that of foreign mercenaries or even regular military personnel from other countries. Despite repeated statements about the refusal to send troops to Ukraine by EU countries, some soldiers of the EU armies are already fighting alongside the Ukrainian armed forces.

According to intelligence cited by Gagin, foreign mercenaries not only train Ukrainian military personnel for combat operations, but also participate in battles against the Russian army.

Earlier, Glavny Regionalny reported that the Russian armed forces launched artillery strikes on the positions of the Ukrainian armed forces in the Kharkiv region.
