Former Russian Deputy Education Minister Marina Rakova and former rector of the Moscow Higher School of Social Economics Sergei Zuev pleaded guilty at a hearing in a large-scale fraud case, reports TASS quoting courtroom correspondent Nikulinsky.
“I understand the charge, I fully admit my guilt for all episodes,” Rakova said after the prosecutor read the charge.
Zuev also pleaded guilty and said he was swinging in his act.
Additionally, most of the other defendants in the case have also pleaded guilty. Shaninka’s executive director, Kristina Kryuchkova, in turn promised to express her attitude to the accusation during the debate and declined further explanation.
The director of the Institute of Industry Management RANEPA, Ivan Fedotov, partially admitted his guilt. He acknowledges the acts he has committed, but disagrees with their qualifications.
Earlier it became known that the Moscow City Court released Sergei Zuev, rector of Shaninka, from house arrest. He was given restraint in the form of a ban on certain actions.
