The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said on her Telegram channel that a new term has appeared in the political and diplomatic dictionary – “the Trump affair”.
Zakharova described in detail what this means:
First, the ex-US president, who has plans for a political future, was charged, who was brought to justice. At the same time, the White House measures the level of democracy in any country, but not in its own.
She also pointed to the heavy pressure American elites and authorities have been exerting on the American businessman and politician for many years – at the same time simultaneously making claims against sovereign countries for similar reasons.
“The political zugzwang of liberalism,” summed up Zakharova.
Earlier it became known that former US President Donald Trump was arrested in the Manhattan prosecutor’s office. The American politician was in custody until charges were brought, after which he was released. Trump pleaded not guilty.
