We assume they can be transferred in the near future.”

Duda also said that Poland is seeking additional NATO security guarantees for Ukraine, which will boost its military potential, at the upcoming NATO summit in Vilnius.

According to Zelenskyy, the situation in the city is difficult and “appropriate decisions” will be taken if Ukrainian troops risk being surrounded there. The Ukrainian President stressed that the most important thing for him is to save the lives of Ukrainian soldiers.

“For me, the most important thing is not to lose our soldiers, and, of course, if there is a moment of even more tense events and the danger that we could lose our personnel due to the encirclement, well sure, the corresponding right decisions will be made by the generals,” Zelenskyy said.

The Ukrainian president also said that Ukraine wants Poland to become its key partner in efforts to rebuild the country after the end of the war with Russia. Zelenskyy invited Polish companies to come to Ukraine before the end of the war in order to secure a better position in Ukrainian markets.
