The tourist flow of Russians in the first three months of 2023 to Israel increased by 241%. The data is confirmed by the Israeli Embassy in Moscow, reports Izvestia.

Russia is among the top three leaders in terms of tourist flows to Israel. From January to March 2023, about 53.5 thousand Russian travelers came to the Holy Land, which is 241% more than in 2022 for the same period.

The list of Israeli leaders included not only Russia, but also France and the United States. In total, Israel received around 916,000 tourists from around the world in three months, surpassing last year’s figure by nearly 200 percent. However, this is 13% less than the same period in 2019.

Earlier, Russian tourists talked about the intricacies of visiting Egypt. Holidays in Egypt are still not as expensive as in Thailand, which means that Russians are quite capable of doing it.
