Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Expired medicines may be allowed to be brought to pharmacies

According RG.RU , in Russia, it is proposed to create a system for the centralized collection of blister packs of used drugs and expired drugs. For this, it is proposed to use special containers in hospitals, clinics and pharmacies.

Waste will be sent for recycling.

At present, this waste refers to household, used medicines and medicines whose shelf life has expired.

From now on blisters, expired medicines and other medical waste (syringes, blisters, bottles or droppers) are household waste, because formed outside a medical or pharmaceutical establishment and do not concern production.

Therefore, expired drugs are usually thrown away with garbage, which harms the environment, humans and animals.
