Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

In just 10 minutes… 100 missiles were launched from Lebanon at northern Israel

The Israeli Channel 14 said today, Thursday, that 100 missiles were launched from Lebanon within 10 minutes, at settlements and towns in the north of the occupied territories.

The occupation army also announced the interception of missiles launched from Lebanon, after the occupation forces stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque during the past two days, and raised warnings of reprisals in the region.

The occupation army said in a preliminary statement "Following the initial report of sirens sounding in the northern towns of Shlomi and Moshav Bitzet, a rocket was launched from Lebanon towards Israeli territory and was successfully intercepted".

The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation reported that two people were injured by shrapnel from the shelling, while Israeli media reported that beaches in the coastal city of Nahariya were being evacuated.

Al-Jazeera correspondent said that warning sirens sounded continuously in the western Galilee region, and added that the Israeli artillery bombarded the areas of Qlaila and Zibqin in southern Lebanon with a number of shells.

For its part, the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office said that Benjamin Netanyahu will chair a high-level security meeting to follow up developments after the bombing from Lebanon.
