Macron: No country can deploy nuclear weapons on foreign soil

French leader Emmanuel Macron, during a press conference with Chinese President Xi Jinping, said no country “under any circumstances” can deploy nuclear weapons on foreign territory.

In turn, the Chinese leader said his country is ready to cooperate with France, calling on the international community to effectively keep the solemn promise not to use nuclear weapons and not to wage nuclear wars, and to s oppose the use of biological and chemical weapons. in all circumstances, against armed attacks on nuclear power stations and other civilian nuclear installations.

Today, Chinese President Xi Jinping holds bilateral talks with French President Emmanuel Macron in the Chinese Parliament.

Earlier it became known that Macron, during his visit to China, intended to dissuade Xi Jinping from getting closer to Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
