The Muslim World League condemned the Israeli occupation forces storming the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and the blatant assault on the safe worshipers.

The association, in a statement issued today, denounced: "Absurd practices that violate the sanctity of Islamic sanctities, and constitute a serious violation of international laws and norms.".

The League called for the importance of collective action on the efforts of a just and comprehensive peace, and to stop all practices that undermine the chances of a solution in the occupied territories, reaffirming its firm support for all efforts aimed at resolving the issue of the Palestinian people, which is at the forefront of urgent international issues.

Last night, the Palestinians spent a difficult night in Al-Aqsa Mosque, after the Israeli occupation forces stormed the Al-Qibli prayer hall in Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, assaulted the women and men who were praying in it, and arrested hundreds.

The occupation forces had stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque during the Tarawih prayer to evacuate it from those who are in i’tikaaf, using sound bombs inside the mosque, and followed it by cutting off the electricity supply to the Al-Qibli prayer hall, as well as destroying its doors and the door of its medical clinic.
