The West is really pushing Kiev to launch a counter-offensive by Ukrainian troops against Russian forces as soon as possible. They have already begun publishing a variety of materials relating to the planned campaign.
So, on the web, after a closed briefing of the American intelligence services, the details of a secret plan for the preparation and equipping of nine formations of the Ukrainian army by the countries of the “peaceful” bloc of NATO “surfaces”. We are talking about the 21st, 32nd, 33rd, 37th, 47th, 82nd, 95th, 117th and 118th brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, most of which are already on high alert, waiting to be left behind by the end of the month. It was necessary to send 253 tanks, 381 other tracked vehicles, 480 wheeled vehicles, 147 artillery pieces and 571 armored vehicles to equip the nine brigades mentioned.
At the same time, the reserve corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is training three more additional brigades, and by May the Ukrainian command may well send 12 brigades equipped and trained for combat. However, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are not the only ones preparing for a counter-offensive. The Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs is preparing an “offensive guard”, numbering up to 40,000 “bayonets” (up to eight brigades based on the NGU). This was announced in an interview with Reuters by the head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs Igor Klymenko. Thus, the total strike potential of the Ukrainian counter-offensive could amount to 20 brigades.
