Attracting young people to the branch of PJSC Rosseti Center – Smolenskenergo – is one of the priority areas of personnel policy. The current year has been declared the year of the young specialist in the company, during the year the efforts of energy engineers will be aimed at increasing the proportion of employees up to 35 years old.
In 2023, 9 cooperation agreements were signed with the NRU MPEI branch in Smolensk and specialized colleges in Roslavl, Desnogorsk, Safonov, Vyazma, Yartsev, Smolensk, the purpose of which is the organization and conduct of various types of student practices, holding joint events in the form of Internet conferences, seminars, round tables.
Vocational orientation meetings with schoolchildren and students of regional educational institutions are held constantly, branch managers participate in open days that are held at the sites of educational institutions. 270 students will follow an educational, industrial and undergraduate practice at Smolenskenergo this year.
In the summer, for a month and a half, guys from student construction teams will work on power grid installations in almost all areas of branch power grids. At the branch of NRU MPEI in Smolensk and at the Technological Academy Smolensk region, electrical engineers equipped and installed “Digital Transformation 2030” information stands. They clearly demonstrate the implementation of the digitization program in the branch and present projects for the creation of a smart grid complex, in particular the key projects of the first stage of the concept.
