Information has emerged about swans that almost froze to death on the Rakitnya River in the Rzhevsky district of the Tver region in November 2021.
With the onset of cold weather, the birds did not fly anywhere, but remained to survive among the advancing ice from all sides. The birds were eventually rescued and taken to a specialist, who came to a disappointing conclusion. It turned out that the broken wings of wild birds did not develop properly, which means that they will not be able to fly. It would seem that a hopeless situation ended very well.
- And now these beautiful birds live in the Moscow division of the EVRK “Romashka” with its leader, Lyuba Nikolaeva, – animal rights activists report the good news.
They also post videos of birds frolicking in the pond, which they will spend their whole lives with people.
