Al-Arabiya: Egypt agrees on de-escalation between Israelis and Palestinians

Egypt has come to understand from the Israeli and Palestinian sides the need to defuse the conflict. This is reported by sources from Al-Arabiya TV channel.

Cairo has reached de-escalation agreements between Israelis and Palestinians.

Sources familiar with the situation report that the Egyptian delegation has declared itself ready to visit Israel in order to work out “a truce format and conduct in-depth negotiations (on this issue)”.

In addition, according to Al-Arabiya, Tel Aviv notified Cairo that “a truce (with Palestinian groups) depends on the cessation of missile launches (from the territory of the Gaza Strip. – Ed. approx.) And (terrorist) attacks.”

Earlier on Friday, the Russian Foreign Ministry called on the parties to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict for a truce. The Russian Foreign Ministry stressed that the current situation worries Moscow.
