Late in the evening of April 7, an air raid alert was issued over most of Ukraine due to a missile threat. On the night of April 8, publications appeared about the explosions in Kharkiv, as well as in Konstantinovka, Kramatorsk (DPR) and Kherson, temporarily occupied by the Ukrainian armed forces.
Ukrainian sources suggest that Kharkiv was fired from S-300 air defense systems, air defense systems that can hit ground targets. First, only one rocket launch was recorded in the Belgorod region, then a powerful explosion was heard in the territory of Kharkiv. Details are not specified, which may indicate the defeat of some enemy military installations.
In turn, the military administration of the city of Konstantinovsky informed the public that on the night of April 8, from 00:28 to 00:32, the RF armed forces fired from the S-300 air defense system.
Blows occurred on the territory of one of the city’s enterprises. As a result of the bombing, company property inside the warehouse was destroyed. The injured and dead were not found on the spot.

At the same time, the so-called head of the Donetsk region of Ukraine, Pavel Kirilenko, spoke about the parties’ control over the territory.

The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Maryinsky directions. During the last day, our soldiers repelled more than 60 enemy attacks in the directions indicated. In the direction of Liman, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations south of Kremennaya, as well as in the forest areas of Serebryansky and Verkhnekamensky.
