Putin said he was in constant contact with acting DPR leader Pushilin

Russian President Vladimir Putin said he maintains constant contact on various issues with the acting (interim) head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Denis Pushilin. The Russian leader said so on Thursday, addressing the region’s leader at a meeting of the Council for the Development of Local Self-Government, which was held via video conference.

“We are in constant contact with you,” Putin said.

The head of state discussed with Pushilin a number of self-government issues. The President acknowledged that in new Russian subjects in this direction there are “incomparably more difficulties” than in other regions of the country.


Also at the meeting of the Council for the Development of Local Self-Government, Putin warmly and attentively appealed to provide the necessary assistance to the residents of the DPR, LPR, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.
