The wooden building of the Feodorovskaya Church was badly damaged in a fire on January 25. Literally the next day, Alexander Sokolov assured the people of Kirov that they would see the temple, which would be erected in its original place.
The project for the new church has already been commissioned. But until the time of its implementation, it was decided to install a cult cross here.
It is known that from the first days after the tragedy, the residents of Kirov actively participated in the restoration of the temple, collecting donations for its construction.
Alexander Sokolov transferred half of his salary for these purposes. According to representatives of the Diocese of Vyatka, it was decided to restore the historic temple of the Feodorovskaya Church.
