Kremlin Spokesman and Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov commented on Lukashenka’s statement that it is possible to solve nuclear problems by uniting all nuclear weapons on the planet “into one pile and destroying them”.
“It will require a unique consensus, and at the same time, it can hardly be expected, it is unlikely that the world will have such full potential to reach such general agreements,” Peskov said.
Earlier, Lukashenko, at a meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State of Russia and Belarus, said that attempts by the West to pressure economic sanctions had failed, but that they were trying to exert pressure militarily.
