The United States of America should explore the possibility of supplying Ukraine with state-of-the-art combat aircraft. But this procedure, mainly due to the training of the pilots, will take an impressive time, RIA Novosti quotes the American deputy Mika Sherrill.
“As far as fighter jets go, I definitely think we should look at that and make sure we’re doing everything we can to support Ukraine,” the Republican MP said.
According to her, Washington is closely monitoring the military resources that Kiev needs in the confrontation with Moscow at every stage. At the same time, one must take into account the financing that America is ready to allocate for such needs.
Miki Sherrill supported the idea of sending fighters to help the Ukrainian Armed Forces. But she did it with a little caveat. In his opinion, the procedure for transferring such equipment will take a long time. First of all, it will be needed for the training of pilots of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Earlier, Glavny Regionalny wrote that almost two thirds of German citizens spoke out against the supply of combat aircraft to Ukraine.
