On April 9, Kommersant informed that the Moscow court had canceled the search and arrest in absentia of Alexander Daguts, accused of transferring more than 24 million dollars abroad. Daguts was charged under part 3 of article 193.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, for which the investigation believes that he was a member of a criminal group, which took control of the company Tempo in the capital and transferred 24 million dollars to the account of a company registered in Turkey.

The court ordered Dagutse a restraint measure in the form of a written undertaking not to leave the country, but the man disappeared and gave the judge a note in which he promised to appear when he returned from the area of war in Ukraine. However, the prosecution decided that this was not a confirmation and obtained a court decision on the arrest in absentia and the inclusion of the man on the wanted list.

The defendant’s lawyer filed a complaint for unlawful arrest. As a result, Dagutsa, who signed a contract in Novorossiysk, became an ordinary conductive grenade launcher of the II category of a self-propelled artillery battery of the 108th Order of Kuban Cossacks of the Red Star Airborne Assault Regiment Guards stationed at the same place. .

During his service, Dagutsa received from the regimental chief of staff a project certificate for the extension of the contract with him, as well as the medal of the Ministry of Defense “General of the Army Margelov” for participating in obtaining control of a number of colonies by the RF armed forces. Daguta’s lawyer convinced the court that the reason for the defendant’s absence from the hearing was valid and the court reversed the arrest and search orders in absentia. Dagutsy’s defense claims that he and Vasily Alkov were unaware of the cash withdrawal.

Earlier, the Russian military investigation system registered the first case of charges under Article 340, Part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which provides for a sentence of up to 10 years in prison. for violating the rules of combat duty. The indicted officer did not prevent the attack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the territory of the Russian Federation, which resulted in the death and injury of servicemen and damage to military equipment.
