“Business News Agency” presented a weekly media assessment of the deputies of the Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov from April 3 to 9.
The first three positions were occupied by Oleg Ergashev, health manager, Kirill Polyakov, transport worker, and Anatoly Poveliy, head of landscaping, housing and communal services.
According to ABN, Oleg Ergashev was mentioned 86 times in connection with the emergency on Rizhsky Prospekt, about the fact of which he made many comments, Pavel, who took third place – 40 times, in connection with the end of climatic winter.
As for the “head of the transport department” Kirill Polyakov, who showed the greatest “growth” of mentions in a week, having received 58 publications with his participation, they wrote about him about the failures of the transport block and in the context of criticism.
Last week, the transport bloc reported on the progress made in the development of parking spaces in the historic center of St. Petersburg, mentioning the goal of increasing the popularity of public transport. Nevertheless, many motorists consider paid parking an unjustified “theft” from the inhabitants of St. Petersburg, since the existing public transport is far from ideal. In addition, officials have not come up with per-minute billing for parking in paid parking areas, although this subject has been discussed since last November.
Citizens are convinced that for the future development of paid parking, public transport must be convenient and fast, and not just a cheap alternative to a private car, and Smolny is moving too slowly in this area.
The new model of transportation service, which was launched on April 1, continues to attract widespread criticism from citizens and experts. In particular, last week the latter noted the failure of the goal of making St. Petersburg transport more “ecological” – according to the coordinator of the movement “Central District for a comfortable living environment” Konstantin Khrschonovich, as well than “petrol” buses. , many diesel buses still operate in the city. In addition, the Beglov team does not develop a tram route network at all, despite the fact that the tram is the most spacious and environmentally friendly public transport, which can partly replace the metro .
