Washington Post: Ukrainians panic over the acceleration of mobilization in the country

The mobilized Ukrainians are afraid of finding themselves all at the front if the conflict continues, reports the Washington Post.

The 35-year-old from Kiev, who is taking private military training courses, said everyone would end up in the army if the military conflict lasted another year. He also expressed his confidence that sooner or later he would be called to the front.

“Now we understand what’s going on, so I’m even more nervous,” said the 52-year-old Ukrainian who received the summons.

He expressed concern for his own safety as he prepared for a counter-offensive.

Earlier, the founder of the private military company Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin, said that the Ukrainian armed forces are currently preparing a grouping of 200,000 to 400,000 personnel for a counteroffensive.
