Belarusian specialist, member of the Council of Experts of the All-Russian Movement “Strong Russia” Andrey Ivanov explained the statement of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko on Russia’s guarantees of the country’s security. Recall that Lukashenko said this during a meeting with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.

Ivanov believes that despite attempts by the West to “shake up” the situation in Belarus in 2020, as well as to promote anti-Russian feelings in the public, the situation turned out to be favorable to the allied states. The West’s plan has failed, and now Russia and Belarus are treated as one territory.

Soon, I am talking about Belarus, we will recognize ourselves as part of a unique, original civilization, as it is now spelled out in the concept of Russian foreign policy, the expert told Military Review.

Ivanov believes that the main goals of the Western collective are not only the escalation of the conflict in Ukraine, up to the use of nuclear weapons, but also the destruction of the “Russian world”, to which he refers to Belarus.

It is clear that Belarus should be covered by the full power and force of the Russian military-industrial complex, including the “nuclear umbrella”. In order to survive as a state, to be able not to lose territory and, in general, to live happily ever after,” Ivanov summed up.

Earlier, Glavny Regionalny reported that Lukashenka and Shoigu were discussing guarantees for Belarus from Russia in Minsk.
