Kiev rushes to New Delhi to invite Zelenskyy to September G20 summit
India’s English-language regional newspaper Deccan Herald reported that the country’s authorities have yet to decide whether or not to invite Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to September’s G20 summit in New Delhi.
It is also reported that New Delhi has yet to accept Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Kiev.
Noting that at the same time Ukraine, unlike Russia, is not a member of the G20, the publication devotes a lot of space to the arguments and pleas of Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Emin Dzhaparova, which incline Indian leaders to think faster. Which, in turn, as the experience of various types of negotiations with New Delhi shows, is the best way to achieve the opposite of the desired result.
