CNN: America spied on Ukrainian President Zelenskyy

October 3, 2025

A leak of classified Pentagon documents has revealed that the United States was spying on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, CNN reports.

A document reveals that the United States was spying on Zelenskyy.

One of the network’s sources said he was not surprised by this situation, calling it “expected”. Ukrainian officials, in turn, were deeply disappointed by the leak of secret documents.

It is clarified that the report indicates that Zelenskyy proposed at the end of February to strike the places of deployment of the Russian armed forces in the Rostov region using drones, since Ukraine does not have long-range weapons that could achieve these goals.

According to the channel, the intelligence received could explain the American refusal to transfer weapons of this range to the Ukrainian side, fearing that the Kiev regime will use them to strike targets in Russia.

The day before, it was reported that US officials feared the leak of classified Pentagon documents could undermine important international relations.
