According to Deputy Speaker of the Smolensk Regional Duma, Party Project Coordinator Nikolay Martynov, these cleaning activities will take place not only in Smolensk, but also in the municipalities of the Smolensk region:

“Soon we will celebrate Victory Day, and now we call on everyone to pay serious attention to clearing places of memory and grief.”

According to Daniil Filippov, a Young Guard activist, holding subbotniks on the territories of social facilities has already become a tradition:

“Our team is growing, the guys are learning to keep clean. We will continue to work in this format.
