Andrey Ivanov, official representative of the monitoring agency, told the correspondent of “RG” that a criminal case had been opened on the fact of the illegal seizure by the Ukrainian authorities of the assets of one of the main Russian banks, as well as the blocking of the work of his “daughter” in Ukraine. As a result, according to the RF GP, the Russian bank, including its Ukrainian customers, suffered damages in the amount of more than one billion dollars. The supervisory authority did not name the Russian bank, but Kiev is well aware of what is actually stolen credit institution is in question. According to Ivanov, high officials of the Kiev regime in the person of the highest political leaders of the country, for a long time using administrative resources, created obstacles for the work of the bank and its “daughters” in Ukraine. Ordinary Ukrainian investors also suffered from these actions. At the same time, the Ukrainian authorities did not allow the sale of the bank’s assets to third parties or countries.

“The apotheosis of this disregard for the interests of its own citizen bank customers, as well as for the country’s international obligations, was the expropriation of the assets of a credit institution, which in fact ensured the transfer of all property of a subsidiary of a Russian bank in the hands of the Ukrainian oligarchy,” summed up Andrei Ivanov.
