The first video footage of the return of 40 Russian servicemen from Ukrainian captivity has emerged. The video was posted by State Duma deputy Shamsail Saraliyev.
“The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation is today carrying out another exchange of prisoners of war,” said a representative of the Parliamentary Coordination Group on Special Military Operations.
According to the Ministry of Defense, on board the aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces military transport aviation, the fighters will be delivered to Moscow for treatment and rehabilitation. All soldiers already receive the necessary medical and psychological assistance.
Meanwhile, the head of the Ukrainian president’s office, Andrii Yermak, said Kiev had managed to exchange 44 military personnel. Among them are 46 privates and sergeants, 6 officers, 2 civilians. Some of them took part in the Azovstal battles in Mariupol and in the Kherson region.
