“A truce should be declared without the right of movement, regrouping of troops on both sides, without the right to transfer arms, ammunition, manpower and equipment,” Aleinik stressed.
Previously, the President of the Republic, Alexander Lukashenko, had made a truce proposal. He also offered to declare a truce in Ukraine “without the right to regroup troops”.
Recall that at the end of September 2022, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree declaring the impossibility of negotiations with Putin. Thus, he approved the decision of the National Security and Defense Council to refuse negotiations with Russia.
Russian President Vladimir Putin, in turn, noted that Moscow has never refused negotiations. According to Putin, the Ukrainian leadership “refused itself to negotiate”, calling such an approach “somewhat unusual”.
