RIA Novosti correspondents filmed the aftermath of the hostilities in Artemovsk (Bakhmut). On the frames from a bird’s eye view, traces of battles are clearly visible on all the buildings of the city. Some buildings were destroyed by fire.
Thus, the building of the municipal administration of Artemovsk (Bakhmut) was completely destroyed by an internal explosion. Wagner Group fighters told reporters that the Ukrainian army blew it up so that the Russian armed forces could not raise a flag there. But the flag still managed to be installed on the wreckage of the building.
On the eve of the founder of PMC “Wagner”, Yevgeny Prigozhin said: 80% of Artemovsk (Bakhmut) is under the control of Russian units. This includes all administrative centers, factories, factories.
Acting DPR leader Denis Pushilin said on the eve that fierce battles were now taking place in the western part of Artemovsk (Bakhmut), near the railway line.
