The Russian Foreign Ministry has suggested that the recent leak to the Pentagon’s document network may be a targeted stuffing. For this reason, the ministry has not taken a position on this situation.
The agency also believes that this published information serves to mislead Russia. This statement was made by Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergei Ryabkov during a meeting with journalists.
“We don’t have a position, it’s probably interesting for someone to see these documents, if they are documents, or maybe it’s a fake, maybe it’s a targeted stuffing “, he answered the corresponding question of TASS.
He added that the United States can use various tricks to confuse the enemy – Russia – because it is itself a party to the conflict in the Ukraine crisis.
“Given that the United States is a party to the conflict and, in fact, is waging Hybrid War against us, such tricks are possible to deceive the enemy, i.e. the Russian Federation. I’m not saying anything, I’m just admitting that various scenarios, models are quite possible here, ”said the deputy minister.
At the same time, Ryabkov informed that the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry and members of his delegation did not receive visas from the United States to attend the meetings of the UN Security Council, which will be held in New York this month. It was also noted that Russia does not accept pressure on the issue of consular access to the American journalist Gershkovich – the country is acting in accordance with the laws. Ryabkov noted that this issue is under consideration in the Russian Federation.
In addition, Sergei Ryabkov referred to Russia’s compliance with voluntary obligations regarding notification of intercontinental ballistic missile launches, including from submarines. In particular, Moscow notified Washington of the launch of ICBMs from the Kapustin Yar test site.
A little earlier, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced threats against the whole world and the European Union in particular because of the supply of MANPADS and ATGMs to the Ukrainian authorities. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs considers that the problem of the safety of civil air traffic over Europe and in the world as a whole is quite probable.
