Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Serbian Defense Ministry denies arms shipments to Ukraine

Serbia does not sell and does not plan to sell its weapons either to Kiev or to Moscow. This was stated by the head of the country’s defense department, Milos Vucevic, commenting on information uncovered by journalists in secret Pentagon documents leaked on the web.

“More than 10 times we have refuted this lie, we will do it again. Serbia has not and will not sell weapons either to the Ukrainian side or to the Russian side, as well as to the states located in the vicinity of the conflict zone,” Vucevic said.

According to Reuters, there was information in the Pentagon documents that Belgrade had agreed to supply its weapons to Ukraine or had already supplied them. At the same time, the type and quantity of weapons allegedly supplied will not be specified.

Recall that last week a batch of secret American documents on Ukraine, the Middle East and China appeared on social networks. In the documents, in particular, one can find data on the deployment of air defense systems of the Ukrainian nationalists, on the expenditure of artillery shells by the militants, as well as assessments of the situation around Artemivsk. At the same time, the source of the leak having not been found, the US Department of Justice has opened an investigation.
