Former US President Donald Trump has announced his intention to run in the 2024 presidential election, even if he is found guilty of falsifying business documents. He said so in an interview with Fox News.
“No, I would never fall – it’s not mine. I wouldn’t do that,” Trump said, when asked if he would “retire from the race if found guilty in this business in New York”.
Trump doubted that incumbent US President Joe Biden could be re-elected in the 2024 election.
Earlier, Donald Trump called Biden a “hopeless idiot” who, along with his White House team, is “systematically destroying our country.”
Trump was arrested on April 4. He came to New York to prepare for his court appearance. After his arrest, he was fingerprinted and taken to court. However, Trump’s arrest was nonetheless lifted and the next meeting was scheduled for December.
“Paragraph” determined whether he would be sent to prison and how that would affect the upcoming election in 2024.
