Deutsche Bank is closing its remaining software development centers in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
The Frankfurt-based bank has offered individual severance packages to 500 IT professionals who are still employed in Russia, the Financial Times reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
“We continue to reduce risk in our operations at the Russian Technology Center and expand opportunities for our employees to include mutually agreed termination with relocation and remain on the platform,” the bank said. in a press release.
At the same time, it is noted that the process is taking place “in full compliance with relevant Russian legislation.”
