Leaders of CIS countries who arrived in Moscow will lay wreaths with Putin

The leaders of the CIS countries, who arrived in Moscow for the Victory Parade on the occasion of the 78th anniversary, will lay wreaths at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier together with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. This was announced by the Russian President’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov.

“Heads of State will be with him on the podium. Also, we proceed from the fact that there will be a joint wreath laying at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier,” Peskov said in footage posted on the Telegram channel of journalist Pavel Zarubin.

In addition, the Kremlin spokesman said that foreign heads of state should have an informal breakfast with the Russian president.

Peskov noted that the Victory Parade will begin at 10 a.m. Vladimir Putin will traditionally deliver a speech there.

Earlier, Dmitry Peskov announced that the Russian head of state will speak from the podium during the victory parade in the Russian capital. According to the Kremlin spokesman, the event will take place as usual.
