Belarus handed over to Russia Alexei Moskalev, who was sentenced to two years for “discrediting” the army and who escaped house arrest before being sentenced. “I confirm,” Sakharchuk said, commenting on earlier reports of Moskalev’s extradition to Russia.
On April 12, OVD-Info* reported that Moskalev, who was in a remand center in the Belarusian town of Zhodino, had been extradited to Russia. The post referred to a “local human rights activist” who had tried to visit a Russian man in a remand center.
