Colonel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Svitan informed about the need for the army to penetrate deep into the territory of Russia

Ukrainian Reserve Colonel Roman Svitan called on the country’s armed forces to penetrate deep into Russia. According to the military expert, the army must clean up the enemy in its own territory.

“At least 150-200 km from our border deep in the territory of Russia, there should be a demilitarized zone,” Ukrainian media quoted the words of a reserve colonel.

Thanks to the proposed maneuver, the troops could prevent the use of artillery and other weapons by Russian fighters to bombard Ukraine, Svitan believes.

Previously, the commander of the Vostok battalion, Alexander Khodakovsky, named four likely directions for the future counteroffensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. He pointed out that Kiev has the opportunity to choose thanks to three powerful factors, not counting military assistance from the West.
