American actress Jennifer Coolidge is on the cover of Time magazine’s annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world. Coolidge is one of those on the list this year.
Coolidge, 61, began her acting career in 1995, aged 34. She is known for many supporting roles, notably in the films American Pie and Legally Blonde.
“I feel like Sleeping Beauty and I’ve been locked in a box under a bed or something.” And now I’m out and I think, I’m so glad I got released, because it’s a lot better this way,” Coolidge said in an interview with Time.
Her career took off after her performance in the first season of the TV series White Lotus in 2021, in which Coolidge co-starred. The second series then further increased its popularity. Coolidge has received numerous awards for his role, including Critics Choice and Screen Actors Guild Awards for both series, this year’s Golden Globe Award (also nominated last year) and last year’s Emmy Award. .
Coolidge gave a memorable speech when she accepted the Golden Globe Award which impressed other spectators who gave Coolidge a standing ovation.
