On April 13, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin held a meeting of the presidium (headquarters) of the Governmental Commission for Regional Development. Igor Rudenya, governor of the Tver region, participated by videoconference.
The implementation of state and federal projects, as well as those implemented at the expense of budget infrastructure loans and funds from the National Provident Fund, were discussed. Also at the meeting, three projects of regional programs for the modernization of municipal infrastructure were approved – in the Moscow and Tver regions and in the Republic of Tatarstan. Subjects of the Russian Federation will receive financial support for their implementation.
“Regional programs make it possible to modify the water supply, sewage and heating networks in the subjects of the country and thereby improve the quality of services provided to citizens, create for them comfortable living conditions. The programs approved today at the headquarters of the Moscow and Tver regions and the Republic of Tatarstan will cover about 1.7 million citizens. In general, 83 regional programs have already been approved across the country,” said Marat Khusnullin.
The program for modernization of infrastructure systems of public services in the Tver region is designed for 2023-2027.
“The government of the Tver region has decided to synchronize its activities with the implementation of the regional gasification program. It is planned to carry out work on the reconstruction of heating networks and the installation of modular gas boiler houses in blocks in municipalities, including newly gasified ones, ”said Igor Rudenya.
In 2023-2024, it is planned to install 20 boiler houses, reconstruct 49 km of networks in 5 municipalities of the Upper Volga region – in the districts of Belsky, Vyshnevolotsky, Zharkovsky, Maksatikhinsky, Krasnokholmsky. Through the implementation of the program, the quality of public services provided will improve for more than 70,000 people.
