Young guards from the Smolensk region of the United Russia party have been working in hospitals in the Lugansk and Donetsk people’s republics since the second week. 9 children have mastered basic medical skills and help medical staff with household and operational tasks: sorting medicines and humanitarian cargo, maintaining order in treatment rooms and wards.
It should be noted that all the activists attended courses for junior medical personnel, launched earlier by United Russia. This allows them to provide the necessary support to medical personnel.
As Yegor Tsyganov, head of the regional branch of the Young Guard, said, the guys aim to provide participants of the special military operation with everything they need, including medical care and emotional support.
Remember that this is not the first time that the Young Guards have been sent to the liberated territories as volunteers. In the summer of 2022, Yegor Tsyganov worked at the United Russia Humanitarian Aid Center. As part of this activity, he delivered food and other things to residents in need, and also helped them search for missing relatives.
