Al-Masry explained, in his statements to QNA, that the Dar Al-Salam Endowment, since its establishment in 1995 until now, has been organizing collective Iftar tables on which students and businessmen from the Arab community gather daily throughout the days of the blessed month of Ramadan, stressing that the aim of such tables is Promoting solidarity and brotherhood among Arab expatriates, and enjoying the Ramadan atmosphere mixed with authentic Arab traditions, with the participation of families and students from the Arab community.

He noted that other Arab associations in Istanbul organized entertainment and cultural programs during the collective breakfast tables, pointing out that these events constitute an opportunity for acquaintance between members of the Arab communities in Turkey, and the exchange of expertise and experiences among them, especially since everyone gathers around the breakfast tables in joy and pleasure, and communication continues and is evident. Compassion in in-kind aid that strengthens the bonds of love among members of the Arab community in Istanbul.

For his part, Dr. Faisal Al-Safi, head of the Al-Hikma Association, the largest Arab association in Istanbul, told Qatar News Agency (QNA) that the members of the Arab community, a large part of which resides in Istanbul, receive the blessed month of Ramadan, as is the case in their Arab countries, with manifestations dominated by the atmosphere. Ramadan.

He added that the Al-Hikma Association, which was founded in 2002 in Istanbul, was like an umbrella that brings together Arabs coming to Turkey, especially to Istanbul, especially students who come to study in Turkey. He pointed out that the association has been organizing since its establishment many activities for the members of the Arab community, At the forefront of its activities are the Ramadan iftar tables.

He stressed that there are some events organized by charitable institutions and societies, and even sometimes there are collective iftar tables organized by Turkish municipalities that anyone can join and enjoy the distinct atmosphere in, where members of the Arab community gather at those tables away from the hustle and bustle of work and daily routine and meet with friends.
