On the territory of the Smolensk region, the customs is actively working to suppress violations of the procedure for submitting statistical forms for accounting for the movement of goods and reminds all participants in mutual trade of the need to submit information to the customs authority in accordance with Decree of the Government of Russia dated June 19, 2020 No. 891.
It should be noted that as part of the activities of Smolensk Customs in the region in the 1st quarter of 2023, 2,600 mutual trade participants sent 29,200 statistical forms for recording the movement of goods for registration with customs. This number is 12.7% higher than the same period last year. At the same time, in the 1st quarter of 2023, customs initiated 719 files of administrative offenses under the article “Failure to transmit or late transmission to the customs authority of a statistical form for recording the movement of goods”, i.e. 36% more than the indicator for the same period in 2022.
In addition, in order to avoid possible negative consequences and administrative liability, Smolensk Customs reminds citizens engaged in mutual trade with member states of the Eurasian Economic Union about the timely submission of statistical forms for registration of the movement of goods containing reliable and complete information.
It should be noted that statistical forms are provided in the form of electronic documents that are filled out on the official website of the Federal Customs Service of Russia in the “Personal account of a participant in foreign economic activity”. The Smolensk Customs Press Service pointed out that participants of foreign economic activity can send all their questions to the Customs Statistics Service.
