A man from Sheksna Severnaya is suspected of stealing money from a bank account

A 60-year-old resident of the Sheksninsky district filed a complaint with the police. According to the man, while very drunk, a backpack with documents, a map and money in the amount of 20,000 rubles was stolen from him. After some time, he began to receive notifications of purchases in various stores for a total amount of about five thousand rubles.

A 42-year-old resident of Sheksna Severnaya who previously had a criminal record came under suspicion from law enforcement. The inmate admitted to meeting the victim on the street and the men decided to go to the park to celebrate. The attacker claimed that he took someone else’s backpack by accident, but then went shopping with the applicant’s card.

A criminal case has been opened against a resident of the Sheksninsky district. For theft, he faces a fine of up to 80,000 rubles and up to six years in prison.
