Otherwise, you will have to face the fact that someone wants to lower the flag of our (and not only our) country in New York in the case of the UN, in Vienna in the case of the OSCE, in Paris in the case of UNESCO, or in Geneva in the case of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.
Again. I do not like, especially in the current conditions, the state symbols of Ukraine, an illegal, undemocratic and ultra-nationalist state.
But if Russia is the seat of international multilateral organizations, any decision and, moreover, any action in this regard cannot be unilateral because Russia is a legal, democratic and international state.
Such decisions can only be collective. This is what international law dictates. And everything else – from the “rules-based order” category. That is, in terms of concepts.
And this does not correspond to Russia’s status as a responsible and civilized power. world-class powers.
