Russian soldiers in the NVO zone in Ukraine showed the celebration of Easter

The RF Armed Forces soldiers in the special operation area also celebrate Easter. Despite the distance from their home, they were still able to attend a real liturgy.

According to the publication Izvestia, Russian fighters bake Easter cakes themselves. To do this, they have a special cooking technique, and the priest of the “Brave” group of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, priest Roman Chebonenko, brings them sweets. After the liturgy, together with the military, he prayed for peace and called on everyone present to care and love.

A mobile temple from Yekaterinburg also arrived for the festive liturgy, next to which the priest gave a festive speech. The priest recalled in his sermon that Easter is a triumph in people’s lives, since the risen Christ is the true faith of a Christian.

Recall that the mobile temple in Yekaterinburg is equipped in the rear with an UAZ and equipped with all the necessary church paraphernalia. It may contain full-fledged liturgies and short services.
