The history exam will include questions about the military conflict between Russia and Ukraine

Questions about the Russian-Ukrainian military conflict will be included in the history exam after the publication of textbooks on this subject in all Russian schools. On this subject informed TASS with reference to the press service of Rosobrnadzor.

“As soon as textbooks containing the relevant material appear in all the schools of the country and lessons are developed there <…> in the KIM GIA (State Final Certification Control and Measurement Material) of the corresponding education level, tasks will be included to verify the material studied,” the department said. .

April 10 Education Minister Sergei Kravtsov said Rossiyskaya Gazeta that from September 1, 2023, schools will be able to start working with new history textbooks for 10th and 11th grades. According to him, this manual will also include a section “related to a special military operation”, in which “all the reasons” for the outbreak of a military conflict are revealed.

Kravtsov also noted that if any changes are made to the history exam, they will be announced by September 1.

In addition, the minister previously said that “heroes of OSV (special military operation)” would be included in history textbooks. The topic of participants in the military conflict between Russia and Ukraine is already being discussed on the topic “Conversations about the important”, where teachers tell schoolchildren about current events, Kravtsov said.
