Law enforcement officials have identified and arrested four bank accounts of blogger Elena Blinovskaya, involved in a tax evasion case worth around one billion rubles. It is reported by TASS.
In addition, the agency’s interlocutor said that as part of the investigation, two accounts of her husband Alexei Blinovsky were also detained. It should be noted that the total amount of seized funds is hundreds of millions of rubles in various currencies.
Earlier in the hearing, Elena Blinovskaya fully admitted her guilt. However, she declined to comment.
The Presnensky court in Moscow decided to send the blogger under house arrest until June 26. The prosecution also asked to prohibit Blinovskaya from certain actions – using the Internet and cellular communications.
It also became known that the blogger Elena Blinovskaya may be transferred to a remand center due to the active work of the curators of her marathons. Law enforcement agencies can approach the court with a request to toughen the preventive measure if violations of the prohibitions are found on its part.
