District police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, as well as heads of municipalities of the Zapolyarny district of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, in accordance with the Federal Law of June 23, 2016 No. 182 – FZ “On the basics of the crime prevention system in the Russian Federation” carries out preventive measures with previously convicted persons, as well as those on preventive records in the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Autonomous Okrug of the Nenets.
So, on April 13, 2023, the heads of the administrations of the municipality “Urban Region” Workers’ Colony “Iskateley”, JV “Omsk Village Council”, JV “Velikovisochny Village Council”, in cooperation with police officers of the Zapolyarny district in the areas entrusted to them, took effective measures to provide previously convicted persons with assistance in social adaptation.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the NAO, the events are of an educational, psychological and legal nature, and are also aimed at acquiring new professions and skills necessary for life in society by citizens previously sentenced, job search assistance and various social aids, which will contribute to their return to society as soon as possible.
